Like with any skill, I got good at writing by putting in the reps. And by reps, I mean 200+ social deliverables a month for 5 years straight. To be honest, I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy, but it made me the writer I am today and taught me these two important lessons:

1. Nobody is “too good” to write (or review) post copy.

2. If you have the opportunity to make something great instead of good, take it. Yes, even the caption of a sexy halloween costume Facebook ad.
