In early 2023, egg prices were so high that the internet coined a term for it—”Egglflation.” Since eggs were basically a luxury item, we positioned Vital Farms as the most eggstravagent way to say “I love you.” On Valentine’s Day, anyone who proposed to their significant other with an egg was entered to win a lifetime supply—because if diamonds are forever, eggs should be too!
